The RolePlay begins the moment the power dies. The standing question remains whether you will stand and try to fight the armed guards, or make an attempt to flee to the surrounding forest.
Your character will start off inside of their cell. The doors are easily openable.
S E T T I N G I N F O R M A T I O N
The facility is made from concrete, in the middle of the forest in an immense grassy area. There is a large concrete wall (approx. 15 feet high, 3 feet thick) surrounding it, about 100 yards out. There is only one gate to enter and exit the facility grounds. (The gate is directly across from the facility doors. It is made from metal barring, close together. A person would not be able to squeeze through. It is heavily padlocked and requires a key to unlock.) Surrounding the facility grounds is a large stretch of forest. It is at least thirty miles to any sort of civilization past the forest.
The laboratory is two stories tall, basement included. Windows in the facility are scarce, the electricity does it's job of lighting the entire place. There are more windows on the upper floor than the main floor. There is a ventilation system that is large enough for a small person to crawl through, it leads out onto the roof. Grates to the ventilation system can be found throughout the facility.
BASEMENT: Testing areas, hospital/sick bay, incinerator, electricity controls, main laboratory, weaponry hold.
MAIN FLOOR: Cells, smaller testing areas, guard/facility staff offices, kitchen.
UPPER FLOOR: Cells, small offices.
**The weaponry hold is heavily padlocked. You won't be getting in by using strength.
G U A R D I N F O R M A T I O N
Each in-laboratory guard carries a pistol and a knife, along with extra ammo. They have been instructed and trained to shoot on sight. Each wears a bulletproof vest, thick pants, and a helmet. The lower face and back of the neck are virtually the only uncovered parts of the body.
Your character does not start out with any weapons. If and how you obtain weapons is up to you, but RolePlay realistically while obtaining them.

No godmodding.
No one-liners: There is a 30 minimum word count. OOC comments do not count towards the final post word count. (And for the Devil's sake use an online word counter. Counting words by hand never got anyone anywhere.)
No bad grammar. No 'u' 'i' 'ya' crap. Using bad grammar OOC is fine, but when you're RolePlaying please try to make sure that you're being literate and realistic.
You are only able to have been grafted with ONE other animal.
If you've read all of the rules put the secret word into your comment.
You have some characteristics (max. 3) of this animal. (This means that you cannot shift from human into that animal.) Although you might have slight alterations in body mass/density/physical difference. Coconut. (Having been grafted with a jumping mouse could result in lighter weight, heigher jumping, 'praps mousier ears and a tail?) Just ask me if you have any questions or clarifications about this.
No super-*insert physical variable here* I suppose if you've been grafted with a cheetah you'd be able to run a bit faster, but for pete's sake you don't get super-strength if your DNA was meshed with a gecko's.
