I actually didn't think there were any parts of the game that were particularly difficult. I only died twice - once was from the Ultimate Chimera in the hall of bathrooms in the last dungeon (which wasn't really my fault,) and the other was from the second to last fight with the Masked Man, because I did something stupid.
I'm not saying the game is too easy; it's just that I had already played Earthbound to death before playing Mother 3, so I knew how to work the mechanics really well.

I perfer Earthbound to Mother 3, but it is still a good game.
F.S: Anyone know how to beat Mecha-drago?
You can't say which you like better until you've beaten them both. Obviously you're going to like Earthbound better if that's the only one you've finished.
The Mecha-Drago is easy. Just use Flint's buffs a couple times at the beginning of the fight, and it'll go down easy. Also make sure you use the tooth.
