I'm excited about it. Now, if no one has any objections, I just need one more person to sign up. Because I'll be doing it in story format we don't need too many people to have a good RP. In fact, more than four people would be too many.
EDIT: Sign-up thread will be created either today or tomorrow if there are no objections.
EDIT EDIT: Once the RP has started, this page will be used for unofficial discussion of the RP. I will still use the sign-up thread for rules and stuff, though. Josh, could you create a topic explaining that third page type of an RP? I don't want to explain something I don't fully understand.

Okay, I know what it looks like. I'm ripping Caleb off for RP ideas. Well, maybe I am a little bit, which is why I'm not just going ahead and starting the sign-up thread. I'm planning on creating an RP that's pretty much based on the book. Characters will influence and be influenced by world wide events. No one will have powers, you'll find crude weapons on your way around, zombies are slow but there are tons of them. It will be very realistic.
So here's what I'm asking. Is this too similar to Caleb's World War Z? His is basically just zombie survival, but ours share the same name (I've gotta name mine after the book, right?) and, well, are the only zombie RPs here. Comment below!
Stuff happened. I was trying to get your character to look for a TV. Ordinarily I would have given a few ideas. If you want to look around some more now...
Guys, what my character is doing right now is something that everyone should be doing: Organizing defense efforts, finding and building weapons, etc. I want to gradually transition this into a full-blown no-narrator type RP, where I'm only controlling the basic plot and everyone else can control what the zombies can do, what's happening, and everything else. We're not to that point yet, but you can start taking more initiative with doing things.
Caleb, if I don't say anything about your weapon it means I don't object. Good on you building it instead of asking if you can. (Because I did, meaning you must be able to)
Cool. Just to remind everyone, I'm basically showing everyone what the rules of the RP are. What's reasonable, what's not reasonable, everything a narrator would need to be a narrator. As soon as you understand the rules, you can begin taking more control over the environment, and eventually deciding on minor plot elements, such as what Josh did with the weapons stash he and his buddy made. I'd like to at least mostly transition to this format before any major plot changes happen, such as a Civilian Stronghold. That's a few pages away, but I'd like everyone to be narrating themselves then. It'll make the RP more fun.
