The rp type will be story type, like the wastes, but I'm the narrator. So I control the story but otherwise you can do whatever you want. Like, as long as you stay within the parameters of the rp it works to do whatever. If you have a question, like "Won't my portal gun just be able to shoot through a window to the ground below?" then have your character ask that question and I'll reply using my character "No, I think that the windows have a thin layer of obsidian or something to stop stuff like that"
Nicholas sighed and plopped down on one of AIPOSE's plad couches and picked up a brochure on the table called "So You've Found Out That There's a Wormhole In the Center of the Bermuda Triangle." He settled down to read it.
It had been a long day. At school, He and his friend Kodin had been called in to take a "Special Test." While there, some young adult called Xenophilius had asked them a bunch of ridiculous questions like "How many dimensions are there?" After the test, Cody had stumbled out of the room confused and wierded out.
When school ended, a man in a black suit had come by and "invited" Nicholas to an "assembly" where they would learn more about a future job opportunity created by the international government. But it wasn't really an invitation, it was a request. Within minutes he was inside a helicopter, blindfolded and flying towards an unknown location.
Once they landed they had unblindfolded him. The area around them was wasteland. Dry, cracked dirt went on for hundreds of miles. But the most interesting thing was straight ahead. A giant, ramshackle tower shot up through the clouds. It bulged and was always swaying in the wind. The man in black had nudged Nicholas inside and told him to wait until the scientist was ready. Which was where he was now.
Nicholas looked up from his pamphlet when the door opened. For the first time he noticed that Kodin and Xenophilius were sitting across from him. They walked into an elevator which started going to the top floor, floor 300.
"Well? Aren't you going to tell me your names?" The scientist was in a corner, tapping her foot impatiently.
Xenophilius, in the opposite corner, looked sulky and bored. "Do I really have to? This is only-"
"Shhh. There are newcomers in the room. You only have to do this 12 more times to become a senior recruiter."
Nicholas looked around, still a little wierded out by the fact that he was being recruited by an international government agency. But the bing of the elevator saved them from having to introduce themselves. They were there. After a very, very, very long explanation from the scientist, they had the basics down about the AIPOSE corporation.
"And now let me show you a timefreeze." The scientist said. She threw a small obsidian capsule at their feet. The next second, the scientist... Or whatever it was... Had teleported. A shriveled black corpse in a white lab coat was stumbling towards them, moaning. Nicholas could hear other moans below them. The elevator was malfunctioning, and there was a huge banging on the door leading to the stairs.
Xenophilius stood for a moment, waiting to see if Nicholas did anything eventful. When he did not, he sighed, and pulled out what looked like a laser pointer. He guided the dot in a small circle to small to crawl through, in the ceiling of the elevator.
He got what looked like a White and Purple pistol from his pocket. He shot it into the hole, flipped a switch, and shot it into the elevator's wall. A circle of flickering orange stayed there, and in the circle is what appeared to be a window to the wall above the elevator. He pulled Nick through it, and they landed on the roof of the elevator.

"What the.... Never mind. We've got other problems." Nick pointed to the hole in the ceiling, where the.... Thing.... Was starting to claw it's way in. "Think the elevator still works? Once we're down there the other ones can also get in." He looked around. "No... Wait.. Never mind. The elevator's too strong. These cords around, though..." Nicholas jumped onto one of the cords and started shimmying down.
